Love Indubitably!
08.20.12

Well, it happened -- Brad and I got married! And let me tell you, it was a SPECTACLE. Well, it was as much of a spectacle as we could pull off in the time we had. :) I mean, what else could you expect from a theater techie like me, and a teacher-by-day/musician-by-night like Brad?

This wedding had EVERYthing --

.

A musical-soundtrack themed invitation:

including some large nods to one of our favorite TV shows and one of our favorite movies

.

A ceremony in a theater with tickets to get in and a program:

.

A Muppet movie intro:

.

A magic trick (er, "illusion"):

there was more than one set of “rings” exchanged in our ceremony!

.

Confetti cannons (obviously) while a choir singing the “Hallelujah Chorus”:

.

A reception in a museum with free reign to us and our guests:

needless to say, some guests (including the bride and groom) ignored some exhibit signs!

.

A pinball-themed cake (designed by Brad):

.

High-fives:

.

Karaoke:

.

.

Plus of course we included the traditional things like vows, life-changing commitment, speeches, flowers, dinner, dancing, and family and friends. :)

Thank you to Demoree for our amazing graphics; Aunt Dianne and Karen for Tech Directing; our parents for acting as our Producers; Mike and Dante for lots of extra pictures; Meredith, Ryan, Ben, Katrina, Phil, Andrew, and Karen (again!) for being our musicians; Amira, Leslie, Andrew, and Pat for being my tech crew; and an endless list of others who helped before and added to the fun during! And of course, thanks to my groom Brad for being a good sport and for contributing tons of fun ideas for making our special day unique!
